Thank you for stopping by David! Chesaw is a ghost town because it’s population is much less then it was in at it’s height in 1890-1920. The other (to me) factor is that it no longer has a post office. The ghost town classification system helps to give an idea of why a town would be a ghost town.
Hey man. I do prescribed burning in Chesaw. Its still a very alive town. The bar even serves a decent Bison burger.
