Newport Bay Bridge
Also know as the Yaquina Bay Bridge.
This is one of eleven bridges on the Oregon Coast designed by Conde McCullough. Construction started August 1, 1934, and took just over two years. It opened on September 6, 1936. 220 people worked on it at a cost of $1,301,016. 33,000 cubic yards of concrete and 3,100 tons of steel were used in it’s construction.
