  • What remains here in Shelburn is basically the steel water tower, the only one left in the Willamette valley that I know of, a remnant path of one of the old railways that has been torn up, a house that was converted from an old church (bell tower now gone) and of course the cemetery. If you explore around the old railway path you may find old railway spikes. The water tower is on private property but you can view it by taking a short walk down the remaining railway. There is also a railway shack that was near where the two railways intersected. If you wish to view a video see this link: https://youtu.be/ukPyl-7bHhQ
