I have been to Lahontan city numerous times,its a great place to metal detect and due to the large amount of nails, cans and other metal, most of the coins and tokens are still there . I have found thousands of diaper pins,hair pins,watch cases,pant buckles laying on top of the ground in plain site. Before you get excited, this is not an archeological site,its from the 1910 through 1915 era, even broken light bulbs and fuses can be found rotting away on the surface.
