MetaCafe has a cool little video showing how to make $1 image stabalizer. This is a pretty cool little DYI project that looks like it’ll make a big difference.

How To: Create HDR Images in Photoshop
I just recently became aware of HDR or High Dynamic Range photography after a co-worker was showing off some pictures he took late at night. The concept really interested me and I did a bit of research coming up with this post (skip past the first part on how it became so popular.)
Unfortunately, it only mentions how to retouch photos and uses another tool (that isn’t Mac friendly.)
Luckily there is a solution from Backing Winds on how to do it with Photoshop CS2 or CS3.
And better yet, another on creating one with GIMP
*Update* Due to the rise in HDR photography since this post, there are several free programs out there that do exactly this. For those of us on Mac, HDRtist is now available.
