  • Lived in Lincoln when I was baby till about 2 yr old. My dad (& uncle)worked at the mill making repairs and helped get it up and running again. We had the biggest cabin on left along a short road with other cabins & families. Everyone shared what they had for instance if someone got a deer, it was cut so all families benefited. Remember a sad story of a man finding a baby in a resivor while fishing and the identity is still unknown & murder unresolved. We later moved to Klamath Falls & bought a home for 8000.00 while my dad continued in logging. Most of mill is gone now but I have a painting of my dad walking pond that my great grandfather painted.

    • Thank you for stopping by Ann! If you have any pictures or other stories of the town, we’d love see and hear of them!

  • Lincoln is just a couple of miles north of West Salem on Wallace Road (Highway 221) on the West side of the Willamette River. There’s a small convenience store on the corner of Zena Road, a few manufactured homes and lots of nearby farms. Not a place to visit, just drive by on your way to Dayton.
