  • I WAS RAISED IN IZEE THE MILL CAMP AND WENT TO SCHOOL AT THE IZEE SCHOOL

    • Hello Kim! Thank you for stopping by. Do you have any stories or photos you’d like to share about Izee?

  • I also was raised at the Izee mill camp. Went to school 12 miles from the mill camp. I loved it and would not trade that time for anything. I will think of some stories and get back as there are so many.

  • I too lived in Izee camp, but only until I was five, my father was a sawyer there. I have fond memories of the small town and how everyone was more of a family than just neighbors. My husband and I took a drive up there today, there is nothing left except the concrete slab where the mill use to sit. I tried to remember where our home was, but as a small child when we left there it was impossible, I do remember that most of the homes sit on the hill side. I can remember when the mill whistle would blow myself and my dog would run down to meet my dad after work that was always the high light of my day. I was hoping that I could find more pictures of the town on the internet, but as yet I have only found the picture of the old school house.

  • I was also from izee went through school there moved when mill closed
